Disclosure

Affiliate disclosure

Two Skies is an independent site run by Wade Smith, a sole trader in Australia. Two Skies does not currently use affiliate links. If we add them in future, each one will be clearly marked, and we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide which gear we recommend.

Privacy: to pick your hemisphere, the site uses the rough location your IP address suggests, or your device time zone if that fails. It is used only for that choice and is not logged or stored. If you pick a hemisphere yourself, that choice is saved in your browser only.

Which links

Affiliate links are marked on the page. We may join programs such as Amazon Associates and astronomy retailers like High Point Scientific, Astroshop and Agena AstroProducts. As an Amazon Associate, Two Skies earns from qualifying purchases.

What it does not change

Commissions and sponsorships never decide which gear we recommend, how we rank it, or what we say about it. If something is not worth your money, we will say so, even if it pays a commission.

Sponsors

Each week one sponsor may appear in a clearly labelled "Sponsored" slot. Sponsors cannot buy a place in the gear guide.
